I haven't seen this topic come around for a while but I was confronted with it today. What takes the wind out of your sails? What bogs your project down every time? What is the unavoidable step that you have to muscle through on every project?
Number 2 on my list is drilling out distributer caps to wire an engine. While doing it I have visions of a sweet looking engine while at the same time feeling like a moron because in the grand scheme of things it's kind of an inane thing to pour so much energy into. Yes, there are pre-wired caps but I'm a cheapskate.
Number 1 that sometimes relegates projects back into the closet is masking for paint. 20-minutes to mask one difficult edge, hope it's down tight, why did paint come off with the tape? RATS it bled through, am I really gonna strip and sand just to do it again? Nothing a drop kick into the closet can't solve.
What is your summit?
