Former champ Mansell backs changes

Former Indycar champion Nigel Mansell has backed the changes taking place in the series at the moment. The 1992 Formula 1 world champion switched to the premier American single-seater series in 1993, winning the title in his rookie season. Mansell moved to America when Indycar was at its peak, but single-seater racing was hit hard by the CART/IRL split in the years that followed.
