1953 STUDEBAKER

As we all know the original full sized car was in the Museum of industry/ fine art division . For , what else ? It,s body style!. Well, I told you that in an ongoing project I am doing "RHAPSODY in BLUE " which will have a plethora of BLUE CHEVIES from 55 to the late 70s . For a break from that and the Client project ships, I started another . How about this? The 53 STUDEBAKER HT , 2DR. COUPE ,  GOLDEN HAWK and a CONVERTIBLE? Of course the HAWK is a later model and I don,t think they ever entertained the idea of a "STARLINER" convertible . SO that one is a" WHAT IF ?" So far I,ve got the cars together now I have to acquire all the parts for the HAWK anyway . I think that one will be a lot of scratch work . On the "what if " convert All I had to do was cut of the top ,make the interior mods and find a boot ! A CORVETTE supplied one  . I will post them to the gallery (i.e.) U.S.P.S. type POST. I wish I could get the hang of posting the photos on this computer .       oldcarguy
