Drift Car CBP

im pretty new to the Scale Auto forums as i've been away from car modeling for quite some time. im used to the Fine Scale forums format so this will take some getting used to lol. Well, back on topic here i want to get back into auto modeling and also wanted to get to know some people on here so i figured i would start a CBP (would it botheranyone if i called it a Group Build?)

My favorite type of racing is on the local dirt track and also World Of Outlaws racing (sprints and late models) so its no suprise that my favorite type of asphalt racing is drifting.

i will be doing tamiya's Toms Toyota Supra and modifying it from a grip car to a drift car. if anybody else wants to join in i would be thrilled the only real guidelines are

1 make it original, in real life these cars have as much personality and individuality as their owners and drivers, so add your own personal touches.

2 scratchbuilding is fine with me (not sure if its a big deal here but some group builds in the fine scale forums require that you build a kit "out of the box")

3 drift cars are not just limited to tuners. some of the coolest drift cars i've seen are classic muscle or clones...there arent a whole lot of things cooler than watching a dodge challenger with the rear end swung wide and cooking th tires around a corner. so all types of vehicles are welcome.

if you are interested post either on this thread or send me a private message and i will add you to the roster.

Happy Building!
