I have made a few really good AMT kits such as the 58 impala and the 67 impala and i have started a 58 plymouth belvedere all these are great kits I really like the seperate chassis on the 67 impala and the 58 plymouth. And a while ago i got the AMT 55 nomad and i was expecting it to be good but found that after opening it and having a look it wasn't quite what i had expected.i found the plastic it is molded in is more britle than the other kits and the joints from the sprue to the part are quite thick. The nomad seems to be not as detailed as the other AMT kits i have made and it doesn't have the seperate chassis like the ones i listed before. I was wondering if this has happened to other people too. Has anyone bought a model kit and found it to be not what they expected?
