Back when I was a wee tad my grandpa had a 1949 Ford F-1 that had a straight 8 under the hood. I would like to attempt to build a replica of that truck. It was the one I first learned to drive in and grandpa is gone these too many years. Can anyone give me some idea of where to find this engine in 1/24 scale? I suppose I could stretch a straight six but I would rather not have to do the extra work. Any help greatly appreciated.
