Audi R8 Spyder by STaSIS Engineering

Two days ago we reported that Audi would be coming to the SEMA Show for the first time. Today, we have information on one of the models to be presented in Las Vegas. Meet the Audi R8 Spyder tuned by STaSIS Engineering.

The newly tuned R8 V10 Spyder has been supercharged to deliver an incredible 710 hp and 523 lb-ft of torque. That translates into a 0-60mph sprint in just 3.1 seconds, a significant improvement over the 4.1 seconds needed in the standard version. Adding that much more power from than standard 525hp engine meant that the tuner had to add lightweight high-performance brakes and upgraded wheels and tires to complete the package. A throaty exhaust also adds a little something as you will hear the boost before you even get a chance to experience it.

Now, it’s time for the bubble burst. The R8 V10 Spyder being presented at SEMA will be a one-of-a-kind model created especially for the show. Customers will receive different versions of the souped up Spyders.

Other models being presented by STaSIS are a S5 Cabriolet updated to 410 HP, a 310 HP Q5, and a S4 that gets an extra 80 HP, an aggressive suspension, and a customer-tunable quad-outlet exhaust.

Press release after the jump.
